The iPad will always be a better consumer choice than any Android Tablet. The reason is simple - the UI is so simple to navigate that even a child can use it.

ADDITION: The not so entirely interesting thing about this post is that if you read it on an iPhone or iPad it doesn't actually work! For those poor bastards who are accessing it from one of these devices (well you may not have been poor before you purchased your iPad, but you are now ;-) ) you can access the video that this post was all about here.
